The Sound of Fragrance

Close your eyes and think of a happy memory. A childhood visit to Grandmom's kitchen perhaps or a snowy Christmas morning. Amid the colors, textures and tastes of those events, do you recall a certain aroma? Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies with a hint of cinnamon, the mix of pine and balsam of the fir tree or Grandpop's new bottle of Old Spice aftershave.

Your Signature Scent
Scents and fragrance are intricately woven into our family albums. They are a part of our personalities, our histories, our signatures. Much like music, we often choose a specific fragrance to match our moods. Just like music, fragrances come in different genres. They are grouped according to what is the dominant trait in the blend of ingredients which produce the final scent. Just as music is comprised of a series of notes played in succession, fragrance also combines notes.

Finding Your Lipstick Style
Which of the following best describes you?

I have a favorite lipstick I wear nearly everyday and I've worn it for years.

I like to play with lip color wearing a different shade to match my mood or occasion.

When it comes to lipstick, I'm clueless. Do I choose pink or red? Match my nails or my outfit?

Not to worry; there's no right or wrong answer here. The most important thing is to take care of your lips providing a moist and healthy foundation for whichever color you ultimately choose.

First Moisten and Protect
Lips are delicate and need lots of moisture. Chapped lips can occur at any time of year, not just in winter. You can prevent dry cracked lips with regular use of a moisturizer.
