Finding Your Lipstick Style
Which of the following best describes you?
I have a favorite lipstick I wear nearly everyday and I've worn it for years.

Choose Your Color
So now that your lips are moist and protected, choosing a color becomes easier. I know what you are thinking. There are so many cute and lucious choices, how do I pick just one?
For everyday, begin with a color that is about two shades darker than your natural lip color. Too light and your lips will stand out. . .in the wrong way, making you look pale and anemic. Too close to your natural color and what's the point? Too dark and your lips will draw all the attention. Stick with the two shades darker than natural and you'll find just the right balance to provide a bit of color and shine that will balance out the rest of your makeup and complete the overall look.
Do you shy away from red? Remember that there is a shade out there for everyone. Unless you are going for a theatrical 1950's bright red lip look, first consider your skin tone. The darker your skin, the deeper the shade of red which will best suit you. Try a spicy chile or fire engine red for olive skin, a cherry or cardinal red for light skin.

Dark skin looks best in shades with warm hues such as browns and deep reds like wine. Medium skin glows in shades of pink, mauve and plum. Fair skin is complimented with tones of peach, pink and a light coral.
